About Adam Richards Architects
Adam Richards Architects produces design of the highest quality. We offer full architectural services for a wide range of projects - from houses & furniture to complex public buildings and urban design - in the UK and abroad. We apply intense analysis and commitment to our clients’ projects, and believe that good design can transform the most functional brief, bringing benefits to the users and the wider environment.
Our clients have unique objects and unusual sites. We also offer interior design, exhibition design and landscape design services, as we believe that the best projects are those that have a coherent poetic approach from small to large scale. Projects are often most enjoyable when the client’s brief, the history and nature of the site and wider culture come together to create narratives that inform the design at every level.
We are a dynamic team, employing a design process responsive to our clients’ needs. We are able to call on the services of a wide range of consultants with whom we have developed close working relationships: project managers, engineers, quantity surveyors and others. We have a record of successfully negotiating with planning departments and English Heritage to obtain consent for alterations to listed buildings. Adam Richards Architects has enjoyed growing recognition for its work, see ‘Publications & Awards’.
